finals.tools 0.2 releases today, with new features and improvements available for tools across the site. These include an improved TTK algorithm that now supports custom target healing events, better comparison tools across versions that have different class health tools (i.e. Respec Order), charts and timelines that now support asynchronous operations, and more.
Healing events
Time to Kill timelines and graphs now support adding healing events, such as H+ Infuser or Healing Emitter, to the TTK evaluation. The tools support any number of healing events, starting and ending at any time. Try out using healing events in the interactive below.
Reactive Mode is a feature that restricts the TTK algorithm to only consider healing events when they actually start (or when they end preemptively). This feature is enabled by default, but it can be disabled to allow the algorithm to know about healing events before they occur on the timeline, and plan for them. This can impact some scenarios, such as the one below:
Asynchronous operations and data downloads
Healing events result in scenarios that take longer to calculate, even on fast devices. Graphs and timelines now process those calculations asynchronously, so you can continue using the controls while results arrive. Adjust the complex scenario below to watch the algorithm in action:
Additionally, data from charts and timelines are now available to download as a .json file. Use the button to download the data from a desired scenario.
Respec Order improvements
With the proposed Respec Order changes becoming permanent in Season 12, improvements have been made for scenarios that. compare weapons across versions with different class health pools. Light, Medium, and Heavy targets now always use the class health associated with each weapon's version. There's now also a option to specifically customize target health for each weapon and version.
